Customs is a government agency regulating shipments entering a country or region. It is important to note that all shipments from a country or region must clear customs first. While it is the buyer’s responsibility to clear customs and pay the relevant customs duties, at Okacc Hybrid Batteries, we do not add taxes, VAT, or hidden charges. You only pay what you see on the order screen, which includes the goods subtotal and shipping cost.

However, please be aware that depending on your country’s rules and regulations, you may have to pay taxes or duties on imported goods. We cannot offer tax advice in your country as the rules can differ in every country. Therefore, you must find out that information before placing an order.

If you have to pay import, additional duties, and sales taxes, you must pay them to the courier upon receipt of the package(s). Unfortunately, we cannot calculate this for you, and there is no way to pre-pay it. If you are drop-shipping or sending a gift item to someone, please make sure they are aware of the possibility of having to pay taxes when receiving the goods.

We encourage you to find out as much as possible about the import taxes in your country before completing your order. If you find information about the import tax situation in your country and believe there are ways to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes), please tell our sales staff what you need by putting instructions in the comments field during checkout. Our sales staff are more than happy to follow your instructions.

We want to assure you that we have over ten years of experience shipping thousands of orders, and over 99.9% of our shipments clear customs without any issues. In the rare cases of a delay in customs, we work with you to resolve any issues openly and transparently. Our team of experienced professionals handles shipping documentation, products, and packaging compliantly.

It is essential to understand that Customs policies can vary substantially from country to country and can depend on several factors such as the port, day, volume of packages, security levels, political climate, package shipment method, origin, weight, shape, packing, size, profile, x-ray results, contents, declared or assessed valuation, paperwork, and inspection schedules. As the importer, you bear sole responsibility for the clearance of the merchandise and any issues arising from an inspection or hold.

If you are dropshipping, please note that the merchandise’s consignee is your customer, and they will be liable for any assessed import duties, sales taxes, or issues arising from Customs inspection.

In the case of a Customs hold, we will contact you openly to discuss the issue and work with you to resolve it. You may be required to communicate directly with your country’s Customs or contact them via courier. If additional documents are required, we will do our utmost to provide them to you and support the merchandise clearance.
